A Degree of Concern
The film documents the effects of global warming on the Himalayas and highlights the retreating glaciers in the Ladakh region. The film was funded through UK Environment Film Fellowship and was broadcasted on Discovery.
The film showcases unusual efforts of an award winning retired civil engineer, Mr Chewang Norphel, who makes artificial glaciers to overcome the shortage of water.
The film bagged the best Climate Change Award at Vatavaran (National Wildlife and Environment Film Festival) and the best Content award at Manthan Award - 2007
