Vessels of Death 

Duration - 6 min

This documentary is based on one of the biggest wildlife seizures that took place near Agra, India. Wildlife authorities hauled 32,000 preserved specimens of 43 endangered marine and terrestrial species which were meant to be supplied to biology laboratories of various educational institutions.

 

A Degree of Concern

Duration – 12 min

This film documents the effects of global warming on the Himalayas. It highlights the retreating glaciers in the Ladakh region. Funded through UK Environment Film Fellowship, it showcases unusual efforts of an award winning retired civil engineer, Mr Chewang Norphel, who makes artificial glaciers to overcome the shortage of water.

 

The film bagged the best Climate Change Award at Vatavaran (National Wildlife and Environment Film Festival) and the best content award at Manthan Award - 2007

 

The Way to Dusty Death

Duration - 28 min

The film is about a much ignored occupational lung disease named silicosis. The film focuses on Agate cottage industries in Gulf of Cambay, Gujarat. The film was commissioned by Public Service Broadcasting Trust and has been screened at several seminars and conferences on occupational health, nationally and internationally.

 The films was awarded by Honourable President as best social issue film – 2007

 

And Then There Were None

Duration – 22 min

This film is packed with heart rending visuals of rampant poaching of otters in India using trained hounds to flush these playful creatures out from their wetland refuge. Funded by the British High Commission, this film made into the final round at the International Wildlife Film festival-2004, at Montana, United States.

 

The films was also screened at IUCN International Otter Conference in Korea – 2007

 

 

Wilderness Calling

Duration – 28 min

This film offers a panoramic view of India's wildlife and eco-systems, which reminds the viewers of their importance besides displaying its breathtaking beauty. The film was commissioned by Public Service Broadcasting Trust and was funded by Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.

 

A Ray of Hope

Duration- 22 min

Shot in the militancy affected areas of Kashmir, this film is about children, orphaned because of the political turmoil in the Kashmir Valley.

The film investigates the psychological impact of this conflict on women and children.

The film was supported by Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and UNICEF

 

A Brush with Death

Duration – 15 min

This documentary film is about the unabated poaching of mongoose to make paint brushes across India. The film was instrumental in making Government of India bring in legislation to give more protection to mongoose species.

 

The film won best Conservation Award at National Wildlife Film Festival – Vatavaran 2003 as the best conservation film of the year.

 

A Walk on the Wild side

Duration – 22 min

This film showcases almost all of the flagship species of India in their natural habitats. The film is to be screened in all major international flights en-route to India to promote wildlife tourism and conservation.

The film was funded by British High Commission, New Delhi, India.
